Metos Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. was established on 29th January 1996 by taking over the business connected to Metos Automatic Weather Station from S. V. Instruments Biomedical who were exclusively marketing Metos instruments since 1992. The company is promoted by Goel Group India (Dr. V.K. Goel and his family) . Besides marketing Metos Automatic Weather Stations and pest warning system the company has also taken up marketing of products in Weather Monitoring, Environmental Pollution, Solar Energy & other instruments related to Agriculture and Engineering. It is proposed to manufacture various products in collaboration with foreign collaborators. The group was established by an eminent scientist in the field of agriculture and veterinary sciences with the aim to take scientific knowledge at the grassroot level for the benefit of common men especially farmers who form the core of India. Presently there are only two companies in the group and an application website but more are likely to be added in the near future. The group is supported by eminent scientists in all fields of science. The group is headed by Dr. V. K. Goel.
